Its easily accessible Mic/Pickup Blend control-wheel offers just the right blend at your fingertips.
It has a bass extension/roll-off switch which controls the low frequency extension of the microphone depending on the player’s preference.

Gotoh® machine heads provide super precision, smooth feel, and minimal back lush.

– Macassar Ebony bridge
The Macassar Ebony bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.

– X-M Bracing with a reinforcing wood plate for body tapping
After spending years of trial-and-error, Ibanez realized the out-of-the-box X-M Bracing to generate the ultimate sound in order to stand out on stage. The carefully designed scalloped X-bracing, the allocation of tone braces, and finger braces transmit the string vibration efficiently through the bridge to the body. The X-M Bracing creates a clear bottom and crispy treble sound with a trimmed, warm mid-range, and also provides a wide dynamic range and high response.
This guitar also features a reinforced wood plate inside the body for percussive play, especially to create a “kick drum” sound by hitting the body top with the heel of the palm. This plate also contributes to making the “kick drum” sound clearer.

– AE body shape
Designed for projection, balance, and comfort, the AE’s perfectly crafted contemporary body shape offers the best of all worlds.

– Comfort Grip w/Rounded Fingerboard Edge
In order to achieve supreme playability, the neck was specially designed with Thin-C shape style comfort grip with fingerboard’s rounded edge.

You can create scratch sounds with this oil-finished, solid Sitka Spruce pad, which adds another flavor to your percussive play.
