Gold boost

Boosters are usually very simple – and yet they are often the most versatile and most important part of a pedalboard. This is especially true of the 100% analog Gold Boost, because its high input impedance (approx. 4.7 MOhm) also activates the last, long-forgotten treble ranges of your guitar. Many compare this effect to being like having a curtain drawn in front of the amplifier.

Due to its super-linear frequency response, the Gold Boost can also be used as a pure buffer when the only potentiometer is fully left, because it converts the instrument signal with high input impedance into an output signal with extremely low impedance at the highest sound level. In this way, the signal retains full transparency, strength and dynamics as well as its full tone even with long cable runs and complex effect setups. Incidentally, at higher boost values ​​above the 12 o’clock position of the potentiometer, the highs are slightly dampened again, which sounds much better when overdriving a (tube) amp.
